Here is our list of items that we use almost every trip. These are our top must haves for traveling. I have included a link for each item that we have personally purchased and use.

  • travel blanket

Flights have a tendency to be chilly, even when flying to the tropical spots. I always pack my lightweight travel blanket to cozy up with during the flight. This blanket is big enough for the two of us when we're sitting next to each other too.

  • laundry bag

I bring our laundry bag on every trip. It is so nice separating the clean from the dirty clothes. When our trip is over laundry is super simple since it is already separated.

  • luggage locks

We always pack 1 luggage lock per piece of luggage we have. We lock our suitcases, carryons, and backpacks while traveling through the airport and using luggage hold services. This gives us piece of mind that our belongings are safe and secure. Luckily we have never lost anything while traveling.

  • luggage scale

Having a luggage scale with you while traveling is great to make sure your bags are not overweight at the airport. This lets us organize our bags and distribute the weight at our hotel rather than organizing it at the airport bag drop off.

  • backpack - no explanation needed, if you are looking to travel with just a carry-on and backpack this is what you are looking for.

  • jewelry organizer

This jewelry organizer is perfect for packing your must have pieces. This is an essential item for me as it gives me piece of mind that I have not lost any small pieces.

  • neck pillow

On long flights a neck pillow is a must. This neck pillow makes for the perfect mid-flight nap.

  • steamer

We love to pack our portable steamer, we use this at home and on the go. No need to worry about wrinkly clothes during your vacation.

  • water shoes

On any trip where you plan to go in the water, we highly recommend packing a good pair of water shoes.

  • mineral sunscreen

We recommend the Sun Bum mineral sun screen. This sun screen is reef friendly.

  • aftersun

After suffering through a few bad sunburns, we finally found our favorite after sun lotion. Sun Bum Cool Down Hydrating After Sun Lotion.
